Music is something we are all familiar with, regardless of the genre you listen to as long as you feel a connection with the melody, lyrics, stage performance, or the people off stage. Kristi Jacques has always felt a connection to music since she was a little girl helping in her parents music store, Along Kristi's journey she has faced many challenges from type 1 diabetes to a rare condition called Sarcoidosis a condition that causes lumps to form in the lungs making breathing without oxygen difficult and causing pulmonary hypertension as the heart works harder to pump blood and oxygen into the body. Despite all of these challenges with some inspiration from Miles Kennedy from the brand Alter Bridge Kristi continues to create new music and work on the dream of getting a double lung transplant to one day be able to preform in front of crowds and share the gift of music with the world. Until that wonderful day comes please consider checking out all of Kristi Jacques's music in the links below and leaving a tip on her website to support her in whatever way you can every little bit helps until next time Keep Calm and Roll On

Musician
Kristi Jacques – Award Winning Independent Artist
Currently based out of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kristi was raised in Charleston, and her background included heavy involvement in the local music scene, along with guitar lessons, singing, helping run a music store, and working for an entertainment newspaper. While life would soon deal other cards, her early years spent immersed in the art-form defiantly contributed to her newly found ability and desire to recapture a lifelong passion.
Of course, while pursuing her dream, life took a drastic turn when a long term lung illness started to affect her ability to sing. She is now waiting to get on the list for a double lung transplant but is still writing and recording new music as often as possible, with the help of her trusty oxygen tank. "I will do what I need to do to keep moving forward. Music is what I love, what keeps me going regardless of the obstacles. I look forward to a better tomorrow."
