I was diagnosed with PTSD at 16, a year after I had moved out of my home temporarily. Starting therapy changed a lot for me, in a good way, but the diagnosis also changed the way I lived my life and was not always easy. Shortly after my diagnosis, I left for an exchange to England and returned early to do the mental distress. Now, nearly 4 years later, I am once again in England and studying the degree of my dreams at the University of Portsmouth. While my diagnosis will always stay with me, I have learned to live more and more freely over the past years and am on the path to my goals!
