Business Owner

Growing up in a small french town in New-Brunswick was interesting to say the least. I knew my sense of adventure was too big to stay “trapped” in Saint-Quentin. I moved around from NB to Quebec to Alberta, always searching for a new job or opportunity. Then in 2016, I took a big leap of faith and joined the Canadian Armed Forces. 7 years of service as a supply technician and now retired since 2023. When I tell you I met my absolute best friends in the military, I mean it. They supported me every step of the way after my motorcycle accident in 2019!

Now, I am a part time business admin student at Nait and the proud founder of CHAP-OH, a brand dedicated to creating stylish and meaningful toques and beanies featuring specially crafted patches that represent the disabled community. A passionate entrepreneur and advocate, I draw inspiration from own experiences with disability and my time competing in the 2022 Invictus Games in sitting volleyball, archery, and rowing. Meeting resilient individuals from around the world strengthened my commitment to inclusivity and empowerment. The last 2 years after invictus were hard and I completely dropped sports up until now. I am now in trial and training to be on the Paralympic sitting volleyball team.

Beyond business, I am a spouse and mother in a blended family of six. We absolutely love the outdoors, spending our time camping, quadding, swimming, and traveling.

Through CHAP-OH, I strive not only for business success but also to give back to the disabled community. The initiative is to start a non-profit organization that will help purchase mobility equipment or pay for treatment such as physiotherapy or mental health depending on individual needs for the people without incomes.
